Customers around the world are thrilled with our engineers’ accommodation capabilities, and this sports client in Hungary was no exception.

CHALLENGE

It’s not every day that a client asks for a portable headquarters large enough for dozens of people in the middle of a major European city.
So when our engineers at TITAN4People received a call from the committee behind the 2023 World Athletics Championships to do exactly that, they jumped at the chance.

The description specified that the headquarters would proudly stand at the finish line of marathons and long-distance walks, and that refrigerated storage for food and beverages would be required .

For the TITAN4People team in Hungary, veterans of container adaptations – from offices to sanitary facilities – the real challenge was to create something that not only met the client’s needs but also looked fantastic .

SOLUTION

UsingUsing 12 20-foot containers as the main superstructure , the team developed a combined solution measuring two units high, two units deep, and three units long.
The total usable area across two floors was approximately 170 square meters , and floor-to-ceiling windows along the entire length of the frontage provided a unique visual experience.

This impressive main building will be supported by utility containers, field offices and refrigerated containers .

Installation in Budapest was no challenge.
In fact, everything went smoothly, thanks in part to the level, asphalt surface on which we were able to quickly begin construction of our structure.

RESULTS

Another successful sporting event for the TITAN team ( others include the UEFA Super Cup in Greece and the Austrian GP ), which once again demonstrated the capabilities of our TITAN4People team in creating innovative solutions.
