CHALLENGE
After graduating from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, Crijn Bouman founded Europe’s first fast-charging company for electric vehicles .
Shortly after the company was acquired by ABB, Bouman saw a gap in the autonomous vehicle market for unattended charging .
His new company, Rocsys, is now a leader in next-generation battery vehicle charging solutions for applications in public transport, logistics, seaports, airports, material handling and more.
To ensure the smooth operation of unattended charging technology, Rocsys conducts research and development work .
This is where TITAN comes into play.
The company representatives wanted to know if we could provide them with a portable refrigerated container capable of freezing to temperatures down to minus 40°C.
They also asked if the container could also increase the temperature to 45°C ?
SOLUTION
Rocsys’s autonomous charging system, the ROC-1, is designed for outdoor use and must withstand even the harshest weather conditions .
This means both Arctic and tropical temperatures.
